Essentially a perfect dark and dingy basement club, in just two years Villa has garnered a hushed reputation as one of Europe's secret little gems. A tiny underground hovel with burlesque touches that nod to its history as a flamboyant gay venue, Villa has pioneered the most cutting-edge dubstep, techno and house to the Norwegian capital with guests like Peverelist, Appleblim and Skream, as well as the British Murder Boys, Cassy and Maurice Fulton. Alternative and experimental rock is also well represented here.
"One of the smallest clubs we play but one of our favourite," says Mikkas of Djuma Soundsystem. "Quality line-ups, a state-of-the-art soundsystem and lots of dark corners to hide in!"
