Cable
| NON MOVER

At once industrial, atmospheric, intimate and epic, Cable was recently described by one DJmag scribe as like 'fabric but on one floor' with plenty of nooks, crannies and seating alcoves adding to its charm. But all this would count for jack all if it wasn't for the music and thankfully an influx of credible, cutting-edge and cross-genre promotions have flooded the venue. Specifically, Chew The Fat!, Goldie's Metalheadz, John Digweed's Bedrock, Circo Loco, Renaissance, Sunday morning stop-out supremos Jaded and acid house vets Boy's Own. In short, Cable is yet another reason why London's less blinkered and more forward-thinking club cats are heading South these days.

"One of the best London arch clubs, Cable is perfect for dirty sweaty nights of bass," says Chew The Fat! promoter Paul Arnold. "Some clubs have it, some clubs don't, but the Cable main room feels good the minute you walk in there."
