Forget the tourist clichés of Argentina. For beat fiends, the capital of Buenos Aires has acquired a must-visit reputation for quite another reason beyond its elegant tango dancing and lashings of Malbec and steak - and Pacha's outpost in the history-rich city is largely responsible.
Pacha BA acts as a more underground diffusion of the famed clubbing brand, serving up a staple diet of progressive house, electro and techno to a stylish, clued-up swathe of Argentinean night-owls and intrepid clubbing touristas, who have recently shimmied to techno types Troy Pierce and Stephan Bodzin.
Add an outdoor terrace that rumbles beneath the Buenos Aires flightpath, Space, Ibiza-style, and you've got something special indeed. Recent visitor Tocadisco says it best.
"Pacha Buenos Aires is only about the music - from beat one to the last tone, the crowd rocks, sways, screams and appreciates good music! It's such an amazing place to play, I absolutely love it there!"
