A tiny blackout basement that strips clubbing back to the most primal, instinctive sensory experience, Plastic People is a venue where music isn't just heard; it's felt, it consumes, it overwhelms. Best known for dubstep/funky/grime/bass diversions of FWD which know resides on a fortnightly Thursdays, Plastic also houses the underground house and disco monthly Warm and regular parties from Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly label.
"Underlit, low ceiling, sweaty with an amazing warm enveloping sound system, Buzzin' Fly has thrown some of its best ever nights in this iconic basement," says Ben Watt. "Good 200-capacity clubs are the lifeblood of clubland. We should cherish them like national treasures."
