DJ Mag Top100 Clubs

Privilege

Truly putting the 'city' in capacity, Privilege is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest club in the world.

Originally called Ku, Balearic roots allowed it to flourish as an open-air venue for over a decade, during which time Queen's Freddie Mercury performed there with opera singer Montserrat Caballe - a moment captured in the video for 'Barcelona'.

With the roof added in 1990, the expansive main room now most resembles an aircraft hanger with the DJ suspended above a swimming pool in the centre, an opulence which attracted the decadent Manumission till their departure in 2007, and today welcomes Tiësto, Meganite and Monza.
