WHO would have thought kitting a club with US city-themed booths - New York, LA, Las Vegas, and Miami - could work? But, deep in the basement of Dublin's superclub The Wright Venue, it's a recipe lapped up since 2009 by clubbers who hold glamour over grime in Ireland's capital city. Treading the crimson carpets of this chandelier-decked venue, showered in decadent purple, claret, pink and blue hues, you'd be forgiven for forgetting that you are in Ireland while on the look out for Rihanna, Usher or whichever A-list international celebrity happens to be making an appearance that night. Other recent guests have included Pete Tong, Afrojack and Roger Sanchez, proving that The Wright is also about beats and not just bump and grinding to bodacious chart-toppers. By delivering a level of clubbing never before associated with the Dublin scene during its two-year lifetime, The Wright has already found itself in DJmag's club poll - not bad going, eh?
