Location: Madrid, Spain
Fabrik Madrid has now expanded to six rooms, having launched their latest space in 2019 — the 2,000-capacity cavernous Hangar stage, complete with a brand new L-Acoustics soundsystem.
Built from scratch in the industrial outskirts of Madrid 17 years ago, the main room at Fabrik Madrid is a weapons-grade assault on the senses, packed to its high rafters with eye-popping visual technology, a giant lighting rig and enough lasers to decisively end a cosmic battle.
Something of a musical theme park, the sprawling club has six different areas — Main Room, Open Air, Hangar, Satellite, Club and Crystal — and prides itself on hosting some of Spain’s biggest electronic music parties, including the legendary CODE events, and also plays host to travelling party animals, Elrow, five times a year.
Over the last 12 months, Fabrik’s Cesar Almena, Nuke and Raul Ortiz have performed resident DJ duties for a list of international bookings that reads like a who’s who of house and techno, including Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, FISHER, Black Coffee, The Martinez Brothers, Luciano, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Oliver Heldens and Deadmau5.
