Even fewer would have predicted that the US outpost of a luxury Cantonese restaurant chain would arguably be leading the charge. Yet here we are.

he third part of that celebrated EDM triumvirate, Calvin Harris, may no longer be on the menu — having moved over to fellow Hakkasan Group club OMNIA — but with regular appearances from pop-dance sensations Zedd, Afrojack and Nicky Romero scheduled and a number of rap-flavoured takeovers from the likes of Lil Jon and Tyga similarly locked in, Hakkasan looks to have all bases covered.
