Location: Las Vegas, NV, USA
Purpose-built as part of the luxury Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, Marquee first opened its doors in 2010. It’s an impressive venue; kitted out with Funktion-One sound, its 60,000 square-feet contains three rooms, seven bars, and has a 3,600 capacity. The venue was designed specifically for EDM shows so there’s a strong visual element, with a 40-foot LED DJ booth, a projection stage, impressive production values, and a frankly awesome laser array capable of scattering thousands of diffracted light beams all across the venue.
Marquee counts several well-known names as its DJ residents including Alan Walker, Cheat Codes, Dash Berlin, Sam Feldt and Timmy Trumpet, and over the last 12 months has seen appearances from top-ranking EDM and electro/big-room house artists like Gorgon City and KSHMR.
Marquee also has a second more intimate room with a DJ booth and soundsystem, a third library-style lounge space complete with fireplace and billiards, and an adjoining day club venue too. It’s is an epic, Day-Glo ticker-tape-parade of a club, the combined effects of the sound, lighting, lasers, video and show design producing a hyper-stimulated festival vibe that has proved hugely popular with the Las Vegas crowd and tourists alike.
