It's been another busy year on both the production and DJing fronts for André Tanneberger. New countries, a new album and some new experiences by the sound of it…
"I had a great time on the South American leg of my tour this year, in countries like Guatemala and El Salvador. It was a kind of an adventure sometimes," he says, "but the people were amazing."
ATB has seen some Balearic action this year too. "I played two gigs in Ibiza for Armin's Armada night at Amnesia over the summer. It was amazing and we want to do the same thing next year, just more often!
"The biggest thing for me though was Loveparade. It was held extremely close to where I live and it was the first German Loveparade held outside Berlin. That was just fantastic!"
ATB's new artist album 'Trilogy' materialised on schedule, spawning two singles, 'Renegade' and 'Feelin Alive'.
"I always have concepts for my albums," he reveals. "With 'Trilogy' I wanted to show the people that electronic and 'handmade music', with real instruments, can fit really well together, and I think I achieved that."

Looking to the future, ATB adds: "The most important thing for me is the next album and playing in countries I've not played yet. I'm also looking forward to having three weeks of holiday in a row! I've not done that in the last five years!"
Anything else he'd like to tell DJmag readers?
"Just try to listen to some more ATB albums and change your position about me being 'The 9pm Man.'"
