Continuing to make waves on both sides of the Atlantic, scratch specialist and all-round Stateside 'superstar' Bad Boy Bill - voted America's favourite house DJ in 2006 - is probably best-known for his skills behind the turntables. This year however, as well as the usual DJ shenanigans, he has been just as busy taking care of business on the other side of the decks.
Having kickstarted 2007 with a hectic world tour to support his live DVD and mix CD 'Behind The Decks, Live' (an ambitious and extravagant live project filmed in Chicago, Denver and Hollywood that included a mix of visuals, dance performances and specialist footage shot from 10 different cameras), Bill has not only opened up his sound to a whole new audience, but also helped to confirm his place at the forefront of the US house movement.

As well as re-launching his own website this year and re-fitting his studio, Bill has also been busy with various other online projects, including the specialist dance music download company Beatport.com (which he co-founded with fellow DJ and entrepreneur Jonas Tempel).
Soon to launch a new version of the site called Beatsource.com, which will cater to the urban/hip-hop DJs and fans, it's hard to know where Bad Boy Bill finds the time.
Needless to say, it looks like there will be absolutely no let up for him in 2008.
