Martin Solveig
| RE-ENTRY

It's been another busy year from the man who brought us 'Rocking Music' and Parisian DJ and producer Martin Solveig continues to cut a suave and sophisticated dash on the house music scene.
He also remains a prolific producer even if this hasn't been his busiest year. The highlight has been the single 'Rejection' on Defected, featuring vocals by Jay Sebag and killer remixes from Bob Sinclar, Ian Carey, ErickE and Trickski.
Both this and previous single 'Everybody' came from his last album, 'Hedonist', which has sold over 150,000 copies worldwide and received a nomination in the prestigious Victoires de la Musique awards in France.

The last few years have seen a hectic international DJ schedule too but don't expect to see so much of Martin over the next few months, as he is currently locked away in the studio working on the follow-up album, 'C'est La Vie', which is slated for an early 2008 release.

Despite his commercial success, Martin is also well-known for his contributions to the 'Africanism' project alongside fellow Parisians Bob Sinclar and DJ Gregory, and it's here where his many musical influences, including blues, soul, funk and disco can be heard in full effect.
Safe to say, Martin Solveig has a few tricks up his sleeve for 2008.
