Judge Jules

An apparently evergreen inclusion in our Top 100, Judge Jules's style of banging but funky, uplifting trance appears to be as timelessly popular as Levi's or lager. Never one to rest on his laurels, however, the past year has been more manic than ever for the veteran jock and nephew of TV chef Rick Stein.
His Judgement Sundays sessions in Ibiza have played host to DJs as diverse as Marco V and Sander Van Doorn to Peaches Geldof and The Rakes, over what has been the busiest of its eight summers on the island.

He's been equally busy in the studio, too. His new Gatecrasher 'Immortal' compilation is in the shops now and he's also been working on the follow-up to his debut artist album, 'Proven Worldwide', promising it'll be out early next year.
One new Jules composition has already had an airing in public, namely the ring entrance music for British boxer Amir Khan. His Radio 1 show, meanwhile, continues to be a fixture of the station's weekend programming. Having moved to a new slot of 1am on Friday nights/Saturday mornings, Jules says he can now lay down some "proper club tracks at a proper club time".
