"People tell me my sound has changed over the past year or so," admits Marco V. "But for me it's moves day by day, nothing much has changed. I still just play what I like - from techno, breaks, progressive, house and even still some trance."
Marco's biggest revelation over the past 12 months is that less can be so much more.
"A track sounds so much fatter if there's less in it," he extends. "The minimal production ethos has influenced me. There's no need to ram tracks full of percussion and noises. Less elements, more impact."

Marco's solitary solo vinyl EP of '07 teamed the direct minimalism of his energetic electro-house throbber 'Possibly But Unlikely' with the deeper hypnotics of tech cut 'Universal Enemy'.
Yet his In:Charge label has retained a flowing output with the Dutchman keen to push through fresh talent.
Swedish producer Phatzoo has already been making a solid mark with his raw sawing 'Poop 'n' Loop'.
"Roger Martinez is another one who is on the move," adds Marco. "Initially he won a DJ competition to play my In:Charge arena at Dance Valley but it turned out his production was seriously exciting too."

Marco's DJ schedule has been typically full-on but with work beginning on his third artist album the producer has been careful not to over extend himself.
"I'm not doing as many long haul flights," he explains. "There's so much going on in Europe that I don't need to be playing in China or Asia every weekend."
