It's been yet another great year for Nick. One that has seen him release his seventh Global Underground album, 'Paris', making him the most prolific contributor to the series.
"I didn't want to do another album of just club music," says Nick, "so this time disc one is kind of like what you'd listen to on a Sunday afternoon or in your car, and disc two is more club based."
Nick also used the compilation as a platform to push new talent.
"I wanted to find unknown producers, kids who weren't signed, who need a bit of exposure. There are loads of young producers out there that are really struggling now. When I started in the business, I could get a publishing deal and record deal and that's really, really impossible now."

On the DJ front, Nicks been particularly impressed by Jam Carbon this year.
"He's been around for a while but has never really had much of a profile," explains Nick. "He plays really cool funky records that I've never heard before."
Also on Nick's big-up list are Amsterdam's 16bit Lolitas and his very own production partner, Jody Wisternoff - who he reckons has long deserved his dues.

Next year will see the release of the long-anticipated new Way Out West album, but as A&R for Hope Recordings, Nick also has another major objective.
"I'm still searching to find someone who can make an amazing album. It's about time there was a dance album that made some real waves in the world again."
