Tiga's been rinsing out dancefloors everywhere this year. It's been a busy time indeed for the self-styled electro pin-up boy.
"There's been a lot of touring, a lot of airports, a lot of gigging and not as much studio work as I would like," Tiga explains. "I did shows in Budapest and Munich that were incredible. I guess lots of it's been great, but I just have no memory, it's all been erased," he smirks.

The biggest impact the Canadian has made this year, though, is with his massive production alongside Zombie Nation, 'Lower State of Consciousness', under the ZZT moniker. Sounding like a malfunctioning fax machine set over twisted beats, it's one of the most bizarre and original tracks to smash a dancefloor in yonks.
"That's probably a highlight of the year, it was a lot of fun to make," admits Tiga.
He's also got a ton of new releases planned for his Turbo imprint, but for now, he's taking a break from DJing to concentrate on his forthcoming album.
"I've finished touring and DJing for the indefinite future. I have a few more shows in Japan, and a new show in South America. From now on I'm going to be working on my album, which will be out at the beginning of next year. It's time to start everything over - new studio work, new inspiration."
