Kyau & Albert

Continuing to propagate their neo-trance sound through a procession of gigs and productions, it's been another intensely busy year for Kyau & Albert. So where have the pair been working the CDJs hardest in 2008, then? "Here, there and everywhere is the short answer," says Stephen. "But specifically playing the main stage at Trance Energy was amazing. Like many others, we've always wanted to spin there so to play to that many trance fans was a happy day indeed." "We also played Nature One in Germany," chips in Ralph. "It's becoming something like a yearly essential for us. Both the Lovefest and Nocturnal festivals in America were amazing too!" The pair have also been keeping their home country audiences happy too with their expanding Euphonic Records monthlies in Berlin. Over on the production front, they've been keenly keeping the pressure levels high. "We steered off remixes quite a bit through 2006 and 2007, but this year we dipped our toe back in and really enjoyed it," says Ralph. "We remixed Paul van Dyk's 'Complicated' track, which came out in August, which was a great project to work on." They've also found the time to follow up their 'Megashira' hit (in collaboration with label-mate Marc Marberg) from last year with 'Orange Bill'. And on the immediate horizon is their new single 'Hide & Seek', with work soon getting underway on their third artist album, scheduled for release next year.
