Leon Bolier's been having a good week… When DJmag tracks him down, he's recovering from the "side effects" of the previous night's launch party for his debut album, 'Pictures'. "Best night I've had this year. Now I'm waking up to DJmag telling me that I'm in the Top100 for the first time - just incredible!" Bolier - "My ancestors came from France, hence my French sounding name!" - is the epithet of Holland's trance nu-skool. A man on a mission, his rapid production approach has generated a whopping 32 tracks in the last 36 months. In 2008, his bookings have been rapidly catching up. "I've played Ireland, Australia, Scotland, England, Lebanon, Russia, Poland, Greece, Singapore, Mexico and Venezuela, amongst a pile of others. I don't feel like I've stopped for 12 months straight!" he tells us. Nor does it look like he's going to anytime soon. "Right now I'm kicking off on my album world tour and I've got to finish off a few remix assignments. After that it'll be more gigs and I'll keep on producing the music I love, I expect!"
