The S-Man is in full effect in 2008. Having just dropped a fresh edition of his long-running 'Roger Sanchez: Release Yourself Volume 7' - crammed with cuts from the likes of Pan-Pot, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke and Tom Stephan - he's been pushing in a more electronic direction of late. And readying a new album of productions, he promises a record that combines his trademark house grooves with new tougher elements. "It's a little more electronic but still with a lot of vocals," says Sanchez. "I'm working with people like Seal, possibly Macy Gray and a couple of other people on the album. It's very dancefloor driven." Sanchez is also celebrating tying the knot and introducing his family to the cool pace of Ibiza life. "I got married this year, it was a big change in my life and I'm loving it," he smiles. "My wife is really supportive so it's a fantastic thing. And bringing my family to Ibiza for the first time, introducing them to Ibiza life, was a definite highlight." With cuts like Muzzaik's 'Out of Reach' and Funkerman's 'One For Me' currently doing disco damage on his Stealth Records label, a series of Stealth classics due for re-release with new remixes, and a live mix album due from Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez has got all bases covered.
