Antoine Clamaran
| NEW ENTRY

It might have been four years in the making, but Antoine Clamaran's sophomore longplayer 'Spotlight' turned out to be aptly named, picking up massive amounts of fans both on the dancefloor and on radio thanks to its vocal and melodic leanings. And there's good news for both his new fans and those that go all the way back to his legendary Gay Tea Dance and Filtered days - he's already started the next one. "For the third album you will not wait four more years!" laughs the Frenchman. "I can just tell you now that this new album will be different with new male and female singers and it should be ready for spring 2010." It's an echo of the change in sound he's had over the last 12 months as a DJ. Moving away from tribal, behind the decks he's now more melodic and eclectic. It's certainly been lapped up at his Ibiza residency at Amnesia, as well as his during his debut outings to South Korea and Uruguay. But with a radio show on Fun and another on FG added to managing 20 labels in his PooleMusic group, it's amazing that Antione finds time to play at all. "I continue to make trips around the world because I love to make people dance all night long," says Clamaran with a contented smile.
