| NEW ENTRY

Just two years out of high school, 22-year-old tyDi is on a rocket-like trajectory, having been voted the premier DJ in Australia for two years on the trot by the Sony DJ Poll. "The last year has definitely been the best year of my life. I released my debut artist album that I had been working on for quite a while, and it was well received." Touring with Ministry of Sound and Global Gathering, and notching up over 100 sensational shows are just a couple of tyDi, aka Tyson's recent achievements, and he's brimming with pride and feeling the love his fans bestow on him. "They blew my mind again this year by voting for me. I am forever grateful!" It might not be every parent's dream to hear the words 'I want to be a DJ', but tyDi is making it count. "I appreciate how hard it can be making your passion your full time job, and I have been lucky enough to never know any other work, besides music." With boxes being ticked all over the shop, tyDi looks ahead to 2010 with a keen eye. "I'm really looking forward to touring new countries next year with a live show. We are already planning my next album, which we will be taking on tour so I can't wait to share that with everyone." For the time being he'll be focusing on the launch of his world wide radio show Global Soundsystem. "It's broadcast in 20 countries and will be a great way to bring new music to fans each week."
