After several years of producing singles and remixes, experimental trance duo W&W stepped firmly into the limelight this year, bringing with it a suitably hectic schedule. “DJ-wise, 2011 has been a crazy year,” they confirm. “We have been touring so much, and played a lot of great clubs and festivals.” But the duo's main focus was their debut album, 'Impact', released to acclaim from the trance community and beyond - a mark of its musicality and wide-ranging influences. “The reactions were amazing,” say the duo, “so, we're very happy with that.” And 2012 will see further experimentation and boundary-pushing from the forward-thinking duo. “We're going to release loads of new music.
