Swedish House Mafia

Since reuniting at Ultra Music Festival 2018, Swedish House Mafia have re-established themselves as being, at the very least, one of the most talked-about electronic acts in the world. Having only played one show last year, the trio of Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello returned in full form in 2019 with a string of global tour dates.

Tour stops have spanned massive venues and festivals, including three sold-out arena shows in their native Stockholm, Creamfields, the Singapore Grand Prix, Ultra Europe and Ushuaïa Ibiza. However, as you’ll all remember from the months of rumours and teasers that led to their reformation last year, the EDM titans like to keep their fans guessing. Most tour dates were announced gradually at the bottom of an ominous countdown clock on their website, while promises of new music have been screamed from the stage again and again.

While plenty of new tracks have been played during their immensely-produced live shows, the Swedes have been characteristically elusive about when we can expect to hear a new single, or album. If the mystery of when new music will be officially released clears up, we can only assume the celebrated Swedes will continue to climb the chart again in 2020.
