Zedd started 2019 as a five-time Grammy nominee, and while he didn’t walk away with a tiny gold-coloured gramophone this year, that hasn’t held back his continued success in the pop world, or his racking up of streams. He released ‘365’ with former tour mate Katy Perry, accompanied by a dystopian, Black Mirror-esque video. He rejoined with Warren Fu, the ‘365’ video director for ‘Good Thing’, his single with Kehlani. He attracted quite a bit of negative attention during his Instagram/Twitter back and forth with disgruntled one-time collaborator Matthew Koma, but he also won people over with his shutdown of homophobic comments about a same-gender wedding proposal at one of his shows.

Performing has taken up the majority of 2019 for Zedd, who has either been DJing at his long-running residency at Omnia Nightclub in Las Vegas or on the road spanning the globe with his headlining live Orbit Tour. This fall sees Zedd’s return to his native Europe, where he hasn’t toured since 2015.
