An Ibizan institution, DC10 may have lost a touch of charm since the roof was lowered onto the infamous terrace, but as far as debauchery dripped, sun scorched marathons go, it’s still the daddy. End of season sets from Richie Hawtin, Villalobos and Timo Maas capped a season that continued to push the Balearic musical and hedonistic boundaries to the most out-there limits.

“I use DC10 as a model for all clubs,” announces Tim Sheridan. “The system was built by Andy Kayle, who is widely acknowledged as the best soundman in the world — Danny Tenaglia won’t play in Europe without him — and compared to other Ibiza clubs, DC10 is not overpriced. I hate to sound up their arse, but it is the best club in the world.”
