Heaven
| NEW ENTRY

Nearly 30-years-old and located under London’s Charing Cross station, Heaven made its name as a gay club in the ’80s and ’90s but exploded onto the clubbing consciousness with nights like Paul Oakenfold’s debauched Monday night acid-house haven Spectrum in 1988 and proto-d&b legend Rage. More recently Digweed’s Bedrock and d&b mash-up Hospitality have rocked its infamous arches.

“Heaven is a truly legendary club — it’s hosted nights like Land of Oz, Spectrum and Rage, where I was a resident,” says John Digweed. “The layout is great, and the smaller rooms can have their own identities too. It ticks a lot of boxes.”
