Army knifes and cheese aside, the Swiss aren’t famed for much, but when it comes to clubbing their plush Mad Club in Lausanne is certainly worthy of global adulation.

A house emporium of the highest order, its flamboyantly styled open-minded crowd are treated to sounds from the likes of Erick Morillo and David Guetta, whilst trance titan Armin and Freak ‘N’ Chic’s French maestro of intense, deep grooves Dan Ghenacia have also rocked it.

“It’s a simply awesome party crowd with trendy interior on three levels, top-notch equipment and a beast of a soundsystem,” says resident Mad Mark.
