Featured in the movie Lost In Translation, Air has proved that the message of music is a universal language with a diverse spread of DJs showcased recently in the upscale Tokyo venue.

A favourite of UK house institution Defected, who regularly promote events here, DJs like UK deep house legend Charles Webster, NYC's Danny Krivit and Gilles Peterson have all appeared at the venue of late.

But there has been an equal embrace of the more mechanistic techno sounds of Luca Bachetti, Cocoon favourite Reboot and Dutchman Steve Rachmad.
