Global couldn't be named more aptly. As the last corners of Eastern Europe become part of club culture's worldwide empire, Global has been providing the Lithuanian youth with an entry point to some of the world's greatest DJs since 2004.

Lee Burridge, D'Julz Gene Farris, Jimmy Van M, Mistress De Funk and 16 Bit Lolitas have all played the unassuming venue, but it is James Zabiela who sums up the sheer enthusiasm of the Lithuanian crowd there the best, after naming it one of his favourite gigs of the past year.

"It is the people that make this one so good, not the actual venue itself," he told DJmag. "I hope that counts - it should!"
