NO doubt the owners of Tresor (which translates into safe or vault) noticed the irony when they were turfed out of their not so secure venue in 2005 to make way for re-development.

Heralded by many as the techno label that introduced Berlin to techno, it eventually made its comeback in 2007 in an old power station with three floors and two giant steel doors at the entrance. Last month, to celebrate 20 years of contributioning to the scene, the club invited Octave One, Romanthony, Ian Pooley, Future Beat Alliance and Vince Watson to the venue for a right old knees up.
