IN the '90s, Liverpool's Nation was as much of a rave staple as day-glo jackets, luminous whistles and ridiculous hats. While ravers "creaming" their oversized jeans to Paul Oakenfold and The Chemical Brothers may have set the club's tone back in the day, Nation has continued to satisfy beat-thirsty scousers with regular Cream events and the odd appearance from Yousef's Circus over the years. 2011 will bring the now slightly skinnier-jeaned Cream new skool collective to its 19th birthday in October, where the spirit of rave will be back in full flight - but this time, the photos will go on Facebook.
