A phoenix from the ashes of former club Venom, located in downtown Seattle's Belltown district, Foundation may be only a few months old (launching in September 2012), but it's got big ambitions.

The brainchild of USC Events, one of Northwest America's foremost festival production companies, the club is conceived as a plush, luxury space aiming to put Seattle on the dance music map.

With Art Deco detailing, an undulating LED wall, KV2 Audio System and plenty more impressive features, the wow factor is this joint's modus operandi, and the booking policy is centred squarely on the biggest wigs in trance and commercial electro house, with the occasional cooler name slipped in for good measure, like Sasha, Gesaffelstein and DJ Hype.
