Originally an old man's boozer in the industrial heart of Digbeth, Birmingham, The Rainbow has been gaining its stripes since 2006, gradually adding extra facets by taking advantage of the many rooms, warehouses and outside spaces on offer inside the location.

The Rainbow's many shades today consist of the pub that started it, a courtyard and cellar, a textile factory, an old candlemakers, and an open stretch of hinterland beside some railway arches used for epic dance fests such as Circoloco In The Arena, MADE and Chapter X1. Plus Next Door, a newly attached club, and two spaces (The Arch and Basement) in the offing.

But it's not just quantity (which allows for up to 7000 when at full stretch) that makes The Rainbow one of the UK's undisputed favourites. The supreme quality and synergy of each separate space as well as the professionalism of those who throw parties here (FACE, Below and Seedy Sonics) make this constantly evolving venue such a joy to behold.
