It may not be the most salubrious club on the planet, but Motion Bristol is the fourth best club in the UK, according to the hundreds of thousands of voters in the Top 100 Clubs poll. Essentially a rough 'n’ ready converted indoor skatepark with assorted ramps and levels connecting different warehouse spaces, what Motion lacks in swish décor it more than makes up for by an on-point booking policy that sees many of the top names flock to Bristol in the south-west of England nearly every day of the week. 

Motion is equally at home hosting drum & bass parties as it is tech house nights. At the start of this month it was due to have An Evening With Bicep on 2nd April, followed by Good Greef with Paul van Dyk on 3rd April. The wealth of space Motion possesses allows promoters to be very creative with their line-ups — witness the success of alt.house night Just Jack or the ram-jam Hospitality nights — while it can also stage gigs in the Marble Factory part of the complex.
