Starting 10 years ago as a small bar on a sandy beach in Limassol, Guaba has come a helluva long way. Today its 2500-strong location isn't really a club per se — or a beach bar as the name suggests — it's more like a theme park for clubbers; Chessington World of Adventures with a killer soundtrack. A series of thatched huts, walkways, treehouse booths and multicoloured balconies all at various levels, less about standing around looking cool, Guaba is only for those who really like to have fun. Much like its décor, this club is only interested in dance sounds that are larger than life, and like the CO2 cannons, guaranteed to blow the bloody doors off every time. The names on the bill are always big enough to fill it too. Fedde Le Grand, Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn and Yves V are just a few who have played over the last 12 months, and you can expect things to go next level for the 10th birthday celebrations later this year.
