Located on Newcastle’s city hub, Times Square, you’d have trouble missing the entry to Digital. With lines usually stretching out the door each weekend, Digital has been popular since the day it first opened back in 2005, being christened by DJ Mag as “the Fabric of the North”.

Now a decade into its residency, Newcastle’s favourite nightclub couldn’t be stronger. Its enduring appeal is thanks largely to its experienced and innovative founders: Aaron Mellor, Rob Cameron and famed ‘90s drum & bass promoter, Dave Stone. With devoted house and techno heads at the helm, quality music has always been number one at Digital, with the last 12 months seeing Dusky, MK and Moda Black bosses, Jaymo and Andy George all step up to Digital’s sophisticated DJ booth.

It’s the venue’s focus on live acts that sets it apart, with past concerts including LCD Soundsystem, The Horrors and Public Enemy.

The best is yet to come in 2015, with Digital set to dominate Newcastle’s dance scene for yet another year. Sets from Dennis Ferrer, Duke Dumont and French disco selector, Dimitri from Paris are already locked and loaded over the next six months, plus regular stints from famed Newcastle party promoters, Elektriqa.
