Arma17, probably the coolest club-night in Russia, was originally housed in an old gas-holding facility until fire struck in 2009 and it had to move to an old warehouse space. It remained there for six years until 12 months ago, when it was forced to vacate its premises near Kursky Station in the Basmanny district due to property development.

Probably the best place to experience house and techno in the whole of Eastern Europe, Arma17 is now fond of moving locations and of rocking up in other cities too — bringing the Arma vibe to everywhere from Hungary to New York and Berlin in recent times.

DJs like Ricardo Villalobos, Ben UFO, Ivan Smagghe and Nina Kraviz have played Arma17 recently, and it's hosted residencies from the likes of Sven's Cocoon and Luciano's Cadenza.
