The home of acts including Kolombo, Aeroplane and Magic Tape wizard, The Magician, not to mention big budget, mega festivals Tomorrowland and I Love Techno, there’s little doubt the Belgians love to party.

Hasselt-based nightclub Versuz fosters more of a commercial bent than that of, say, I Love Techno —  think acts like Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Fedde le Grand and Roger Sanchez  — all of whom have spun at the club.

Sanchez in particular has been a staple at Versuz, headlining the venue’s most important night of the week, their aptly named Saturnight party. It’s not just commercial club music on offer at Versuz either; the venue’s Patron Room serves up R&B on Saturdays, plus old school hip-hop hits thrown in for fans of nostalgia.

No trip to Belgium would be complete with beer — a fact the team at Versuz know all too well. The whopping venue also includes a restaurant and an expansive outdoor terrace, that sits atop Versuz’s main club room.

Club residents include Laurent Wery, Peter Luts and Tom Leclercq.
