Leeds is still the UK's second city for clubbing and it's only getting stronger. Wire Club, Canal Mills, Warehouse and Control all certainly serve to bolster it, but at the centre of Leeds' dance solar system is this grubby little gem. What it lacks in size, this 550-capacity sweat-box makes up for in ambition — not to mention underground class.

Sven Väth plays here on the regular, while the likes of Detroit Swindle and Butler & Bontan rocked the place just recently, while Mint Warehouse caters for bigger, super in-demand names like Hot Since 82.

The Mint brand is up there with the best in Europe, if not the world, and Sonny Fodera agrees. “Amazing small club in Leeds with a great atmosphere, great soundsystem too!” he says.
