DJ Mag Top100 Clubs
76
Danghai Club
| NEW ENTRY

Last year saw eight Brazilian clubs make the top 50 of the poll and here's another one, storming into 77 as a new entry — once again confirming Brazil's unstoppable rise as the centre for Latin dance music. Based in Curitiba, Brazil's eighth most populous city, Danghai opened in 2009 and favours deeper dancefloor flavours compared to most clubs in this poll from South America's most massive country, which commonly tend to spend big on EDM stars.

Instead, Danghai relies on classier names of prog and techno like Oliver Huntemann, Robert Babicz, Stephen Bodzin and Marc Houle to fill the confines of this tall, snug pit with a balcony, while supporting local talent like Alok, Felguk and Digitaria.
