With a stripped-back decor and an inconspicuous entrance, it’s all about minimalism at pocket-sized nightclub, Robert Johnson. The famously understated club has called the German city of Frankfurt home for over a decade, running a tastemaking label — Live from Robert Johnson — in addition to their weekly parties, that have included techno queen Nina Kraviz and Mr. Ties plus pretty much everyone from the Kompakt crew. Robert Dietz's is a fan, thanks to Robert Johnson's minimal, music-centric approach. 

“Well-equipped soundsystem, wooden floor, great selection, educated crowd, no distracting special effects and a large terrace makes this club my favourite for 15 years,” he says.
