Walk past the Bugattis parked out front, through the glass sliding doors and veer right across the marble-floored lobby of Miami’s Fontainebleau hotel, and — viola! — you’re there. Welcome to chic, celebrity-infested LIV. Run by MMG Nightlife — MMG as in Miami Marketing Group and not the Rick Ross-helmed rap crew — LIV is easily THE after-hours destination on South Beach, and arguably the Atlantic Seaboard. Seven years after opening its doors with a Victoria’s Secret fashion show, LIV continues to keep its whopping 22,000sqft room packed thanks to a healthy swap of hip-hop and electronic artists, not to mention star-studded events.

On deck this Sunday? Diddy. Next Wednesday? Cedric Gervais. Chuckie, Steve Aoki, Nervo, DJ Mustard and Porter Robinson were only some of the artists announced on this spring’s calendar. The VIP section on a big Art Basel night can only be described as bananas: the drummer from the Black Keys partying with Lindsey Lohan while Kanye West and wife Kim look pretty in a booth nearby. We saw it with our own eyes!

If you’re into that kind of celebrity menage-a-whatever, then this place is for you. The club attracts anyone ready to drop $100,000 for a night of revelry, to George Clooney, to the average tourist and Miami local. It’s Miami’s answer to Las Vegas, and all the more entertaining for it.
