The only surprise regarding Razzmatazz and our poll is that it hasn't appeared in it since 2009. Still one of Europe's leading behemoths, the Catalan capital's most massive club has continued to deliver names as big as the huge warehouse it occupies.

Set up as five venues under one corrugated roof, there's The Razz Club, preserved for indie bands, and more intimate dancefloors like Lolita, The Rex and Pop Room. However, it's The Loft where DJ Mag readers can get their fix of house and techno's most wanted DJs, where the likes of Green Velvet and Tube & Berger stopped off during March alone.
