Not only one of Berlin’s most prestigious nightclubs, Watergate has truly made a name for itself across Europe and beyond. Throwing branded showcases across the world from Mexico to Istanbul, they also run the label Watergate Records, releasing music from their residents, some of the city’s finest artists (Jimi Jules, Matthias Meyer, Marco Resmann to name a few) and many other acts that have passed through the club.

It’s set across two floors — the water floor encompassing one of the most beautiful views of the Spree (just wait for those spine-tingling sunrise moments), and the upper floor a more sweat-box experience with a trippy LED lighting system set into the ceiling.

In terms of the programming, “in general the club has moved more into a techno direction as the general sound in the scene has moved this way but we still wave the house flag, especially on Wednesdays, where we have the likes of Boo Williams, Prosumer, Delano Smith, Cinthie, Glenn Underground, Arapu & Priku, Adryano, Adam Shelton & Subb-An and many more playing,” the club’s main booker Dennis Kuhl tells DJ Mag. One thing is for certain, you’ll never be short of choice, with almost 200 club nights running throughout the year.
