Twenty-one years on from its beginnings as an after-party — when the now-defunct Space club in Playa d’en Bossa finished up 24-hour Sunday sessions at 6am — Antonio Carbonaro’s DC-10 remains one of Ibiza’s underground mainstays. Gaining notoriety throughout the early noughties as the place to be seen, the 1,500-capacity, iconic red-walled club is located in a converted Spanish Finca, and sits near the end of Ibiza Airport’s south-east runway.

Home of the White Isle’s now-global party, Circoloco, which was born at the club in 1999, guests like Amelie Lens, DJ Tennis and Denis Sulta performed across the 20th-anniversary season last year, as well as the more regular fixtures in the form of Job Jobse, The Martinez Brothers, and Seth Troxler. Across two main rooms, the club offers an intimate, underground clubbing experience, as well as an outdoor terrace that provides an immersive, hedonistic atmosphere.

Jamie Jones’ Paradise party celebrated its final year at DC-10 last year, announcing a move further North on the island to superclub, Amnesia. While Circoloco remains the biggest event at the club, and indeed on Mondays across the island, the future of Wednesday nights at the club is still a mystery — but rest assured, the institute has big things in store for a new decade at DC-10.
