Located in a cavernous warehouse complex on the banks of the river Avon, Bristol’s Motion & Marble Factory are the city’s go-to venues for catching big-name artists such as Disclosure and Rudimental, as well as exciting up-and-comers like Ell Murphy and Tim Reaper.
With multiple stages both indoors and out, Motion — and its sister venue the Marble Factory — have played host to a wide variety of club nights, gigs and day parties over the past 12 months. Since reopening, the club’s team have focused on delivering high-quality events all year round rather than focusing on a single club season, and have made live music more of a focus. Marble Factory has played host to live music events from both established and up-and-coming artists such as Rex Orange County and Beabadoobee two or three times a week.
This summer, Motion and Marble Factory’s headliners include Jody Wisternoff, SYREETA, Mr. Scruff and Hunee, and Bristol’s reveller’s can expect parties from FUSE, Cafe Mambo and 1985 x Sequences. Looking ahead to the next few years, the Motion team have linked up with Manchester-based Mustard Media to work on a new events space for Bristol too.
