Location: Foshan, China
This purpose-built venue in the city of Foshan in China boasts a ribcage-rumbling L-Acoustics soundsystem, four stages and a 2,500-capacity main room with 12-metre-high ceilings decorated with vast chandeliers.
Pre-pandemic, Club Galame’s music policy was based around trance, hardstyle, dubstep and EDM, with appearances from artists including Skrillex, Timmy Trumpet, Armin van Buuren and Steve Aoki.
Border controls have prevented many Western DJs from appearing in China over the last couple of years, but aside from residents Kaiju, Shekinah, Moxide, 7grams, Izzi, Beto, Kurosawa, JackissE, Macy, Howen and Klein, Club Galame has begun booking foreign acts again, including Vini Vici and D.O.D. Looking forward, Club Galame plans on bringing in more overseas artists and opening new clubs in China in the near future, as well as launching outdoor music festivals too.
