Since reopening in March at the end of the pandemic, Coda has been barreling ahead full steam into Summer. As successor to the legendary underground club, Footwork, Coda is bigger, more upscale, and boasts a renovated floorplan, new floors, fresh paint and other new features. It also maintains a zero-tolerance policy for hate and harassment. Colossal headliners like Diplo, Eli & Fur, Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli and Township Rebellion have all made waves from behind its decks. The four custom stacks from the famous Canadian audio crew, PK Sound, are, according to the Coda, their “most powerful permanent sound installation to date”.
