Having opened its doors back in 1996, Sydney’s beloved Chinese Laundry was forced to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Never ones to give up, the team is using the time to overhaul the club’s interior while following on from last summer’s Laundry: Live stream series (featuring acts like DJ Q and Taiki Nulight) with outdoor parties in the garden at the Slip Inn, a spot more renowned for its margaritas and tacos than raves. These events have seen Chinese Laundry team up with local bass-head party series Eighty-Six to book the likes of Whispers, Midnight Tyrannosaurus and Delta Heavy.
