Residents like Steve Aoki and Dillon Francis helped put the 40,000-square-foot, multi-level live performance and event space on the map, but the Funktion-One soundsystem, LED walls, 24 VIP tables and private sky boxes chipped in, too. Recently, crowds gathered beneath its signature red crystal chandeliers to catch Above & Beyond, Gorgon City, REZZ and JVNA, in addition to hip-hop acts and alt-electro bands. “Each night features a different genre, but Saturday night shows are always house or electronic music DJs,” says Big Night owner, Randy Greenstein. Given the rise in crossover live/EDM acts, Big Night Live will no doubt keep on crushing.
